Nor Gara Gu? This is our history
A house made our of steel, concrete, stone and wood, a symbol of our strength and power. A building that is difficult to demolish. Its soul is a treasure trove of all the experiences in the original and current building. Sabin Etxea has been the scene of many of those events that marked the future of our people and we want to share them with our visitors.
This semi-permanent exhibition, where the items and themes on display are regularly changed, showcases fragments of all those stories that have marked our culture, our language, our worldview and the important role that women have played in creating our society today. It is who we are and the walls of this house are going to tell these stories.
Nor Gara Gu?
(Who are we?) This is the name chosen for the exhibition. A question whose answer lies in each of the items in this exhibition. Culture, identity, memory... Our own materials and those from future collaborations with other Basque museums and institutions provide a fascinating journey through our origins. About who we are. Why don't you come along?
